#LittleLoves – Happy New Year!

My kids told me they’d never speak to me again if I put this picture anywhere on the interwebz.  But I LOVE it. It captures those little crazies perfectly. So… sorry guys. HA! I love you and everything but this was too good to shelve. Happy New Year from my lot to yours!

And so begins my first post of 2015 – I’m joining in with the shmexy #LittleLoves bloggers and telling you all about what I’ve been loving this last week.

Got a cuppa? Bikkie? You’re good to go.

To be honest I haven’t read too much over the festive period. I tend to scroll through my phone when I’ve got a few minutes and click a few links on Twitter, Facebook etc. However, this article on ‘Using Instagram for your Small Business’ excited my inner Social Media geek more than it probably should have. Are you on Instagram? Be sure to leave your user name in the comments so I can stalk you check it out!

We’ve watched a few bits over the Xmas break, including this sweet little rom-com ‘Leap Year’ – everyone loves an Irish accent right? It was a cute, feel-good film 🙂

I think a lot of folks will answer pyjama’s this week. Ha! It’s been so nice to not have to rush anywhere, put makeup on or try and match clothes together in my ever-shrinking wardrobe. (I blame the Celebrations) So floppy, comfy pyjama’s and slippers it is.

This song by Labrinth. It’s pretty depressing but my ‘In-Love’ teen has been blaring this out repeatedly so we’re all kinda humming along. Plus… Labrinth. What’s not to love?

Apple Crumble. I forgot to take a pic. Lol.

It’s the easiest recipe ever –

Chop up 4 Bramley apples and simmer in a pot with a cup of water, 2tbsp sugar and a knob of butter for about 10 minutes or until the apples start to soften.

Mix together 1 cup butter, 1 cup sugar, 1 cup flour in a seperate bowl. Just rub it altogether with your fingertips until it resembles chunky breadcrumbs.

Place the apples in a greased dish, sprinkle the cakey mixture on top with a dash of sugar and cinnamon on top (optional) and bake at 180 deg / Gas 5 for about 30 mins.

Totes delish.

and lastly…

A few Christmas pics I took on my snazzy new camera – yay for awesome men who buy awesome presents!
